Get Out Cycling, new women-led group

Get Out Cycling is a new Cycling UK-affiliated community club based in Lambeth. It is women-led but fully inclusive and aims to help break down barriers to cycling.

They offer a Thursday evening and weekend group ride monthly and a monthly four-week confidence-building cycling course in Brockwell Park on Saturday afternoons. Rides are currently on the 2nd Thursday and 3rd Sunday of the month.

Find out more and sign up for rides or courses and for further information about these activities as well as other upcoming activities.

Get Out Cycling is also looking for competent women riders in the local area to get involved with volunteering to help run various activities as well as anyone who is interested in helping with promotion and marketing.

Looking for something different? Bike Buddies and cycle training

Lambeth Bike Buddies matches experienced riders with new or returning cyclists feeling nervous about cycling in London. New riders should be able to signal and look back, with the journey made on quiet routes, more experienced returning riders may be guided on busier roads which may be more direct.

Bike Buddies is not a replacement for basic skills or cycle training.

Lambeth Council provides free cycle training delivered by specialists Cycle Confident.
