We have to postpone the meeting scheduled for Thursday 17 July due to a last-minute cancellation from our venue, which is short-staffed.
We are now planning to hold the meeting in September and will announce the new date as soon as it’s confirmed.
However, our campaign doesn’t stop, and you don’t need to wait until September to get involved!
The reason we were so excited about the meeting is that after years of incredible work, some of our long-serving volunteers are ready to pass the torch on. This opens up an exciting opportunity for new members to step up, bring fresh ideas, and help guide our next chapter.
Now is still the perfect moment to put your own stamp on the future of cycling in our community. To build on our successes, we have opportunities for people to help with:
- Local Campaigning: From helping with campaign rides to writing to councillors. Any time you can give makes an impact.
- Committee Roles: Helping to plan and coordinate our work is vital. We have roles like Secretary (to keep us organised) and a campaigns lead (to coordinate our local efforts). No experience is necessary – just a passion for the cause.
