Big Active Travel news from Lambeth

Lots of news from Lambeth. With all five of the initial wave of LTNs now confirmed as permanent, Lambeth are moving on to upgrading the temporary filters. The engagement reports (with final filter designs) have been published for Oval and Railton and are looking good.

But the big news is Lambeth committing to £17m of investment in Active Travel over the next two years with healthy routes progressing and the next SEVEN LTNs to be rolled out (though two of which are Brixton Hill and Streatham Wells which were originally to have been trialled in 2020). When these are all in place the coverage of LTNs will enable a lot more cycling trips to be safe and comfortable for all.
