Meeting on 21 May: update on council and TFL coronavirus work

UPDATE 21 May:

Join us on Zoom this evening at 7.30pm. We will have a break for Clap for our Carers and/or getting refreshments, join part two on Zoom at 8.10pm.

At our online meeting we’ll be joined by Cllr Claire Holland, Deputy Council Leader and lead for Sustainable Transport, Environment and Clean Air. Cllr Holland will talk about Lambeth council’s walking and cycling response to coronavirus.

Our monthly meetings return, at least for now, with an online meeting on Thursday 21 May at 7.30pm.

We will have an update on action Lambeth council and TfL are taking to widen pavements and add space for cycling to enable social distancing and travel without relying on public transport. See our post last week Lambeth’s walking and cycling response to coronavirus and LCC’s news on TFL’s work including on the A23 through Brixton.

At our meeting we will also discuss longer term work than needs starting now.

Look out for updates with a Zoom link to join us on the evening. Follow us on Twitter, members will get an update by email and people on our email list will too.
