This Saturday, 28 November 2015, join us on our latest easy going ride around the London cityscape.
Join us for a fascinating ride around some of London’s criminal courts and police stations from lowly Magistrates and Police courts up to the grandeur of the Supreme Court.
Our ride will include a former high security court now used as a Buddhist centre, an Italianate Police station, and stables for police horses in the Moderne style. It will take in several examples of the work of the prolific Victorian Police architect J Dixon Butler and his predecessors, many of which were still in use as courthouses until recently.
The ride will take place on Saturday 28 November 2015 – meet 10am at the Southwark Needle, Tooley Street, SE1 2SY – (outside the Evans Cycle Shop, Southern side of London Bridge).
We will finish at around 4pm at the same place. No need to book – just turn up, if you need to contact the ride leader Ed Houghton tel 07889 186595
