Vauxhall Cross: the struggle continues

Lambeth Cyclists recently coordinated a short user survey of cyclists who use the Vauxhall Cross area. This was compiled when we heard that the Department for Transport were themselves conducting a safety audit for the opening of the new bus station, but it will also be used in a submission to Transport for London (TfL) on improving safety for cyclists negotiating this busy intersection.

As it happens we heard that TfL had employed a transport consultant (TRL) to do their own cycle audit at Vauxhall Cross. After we contacted the consultant, they agreed to consider our views. Thanks to Clare Neely and Ben Patrick for coordinating the survey.
