Lambeth Cyclists Architecture Ride: Soane

The last day of 2004 saw a new venture for Lambeth Cyclists: architectural bike rides!

Seven of us met to burn off some of those Christmas calories and explored some of John Soane’s buildings, starting in the sunshine at the Dulwich Picture Gallery, visiting the John Soane Museum along the way, and ending in the dusk at Soane’s distinctive tomb in the atmospheric Old St Pancras churchyard.

In 2005 we plan to organise a weekend ride once a month, preceded by an evening sharing knowledge of that month’s chosen architect.

Thanks to Janet Paske and Mark Knox for leading this ride
